Microsoft Personal Shopping Assistant is a new offering from Microsoft Garage project. This Google Chrome extension automatically remembers and organizes all your products you check while browsing online and allows you to conveniently compare them across sellers. In addition, you can also select an option to get notified whenever there is a change in the price scheme. How to use Microsoft Personal Digital Assistant After you finish downloading the extension, it prompts you to log in with either a Microsoft or a Google account to remember your favorites across devices. Also, the extension by default captures and saves product information from product pages you browse. A user can find the products he browses, automatically gets listed under “Browsed” section of the app. Here, he can save products he wishes to buy to “Favorites” and get notified when their prices change. The add-on instantly starts delivering money-saving recommendations based on their browsing and product research activities. Moreover, if you would like to access the digital assistant on your phone, from within the assistant, click on the menu button on the top right corner and click on the “Send to Mobile” option.

This Chrome extension gets automatically updated via the Chrome store, every time a new version is rolled out. So there is no need to worry. If necessary, you can check for the current version you are on by accessing Assistant menu visible under settings section.
