How to search for users on Steam
You can search for users or friends on Steam in three ways. They are: Let’s get into each way in detail.
1] Through the Community tab
This is one of the easiest ways to search for users. Launch Steam app and click on the Community tab on the top of the app. You will then see FIND PEOPLE with a search box under it. Search for people through it, and click on Add as Friend if you want to be friends with them.
