How to create Menu tabs in PowerPoint

All menu tabs are located at the top of the PowerPoint interface. To create your own Menu tabs in PowerPoint, follow the steps below:

1] Create the New tab

Launch PowerPoint. Click the File tab On the backstage view, click Options. A PowerPoint Options dialog box will open. On the left pane, click Customize Ribbon.

On the right, click the New tab button, then click the Rename button to name the new tab. A Rename dialog box will open. Enter a name and click OK. Now we have a tab.

2] Create groups within the tab

Whenever you add a new tab, a new custom group will appear below the tab.

Click New Group below, the new tab, and click the Rename button. Change the name of the group; for example, we are going to call the group Text. Then click OK. You can create more groups for your tab if you want.

3] Adding buttons to the tab

Now we are going to add some buttons to the new group.
