The company is adding everything into the Settings area, and the newest addition is the option to change Windows 10’s transparency.
Change Transparency levels in Windows 10
Before we go into the steps, it should be noted that this new look of Windows 10 is called “Acrylic,” and it’s part of Microsoft’s plan to continue with the improvement of the Fluent Design System. Now, with the right wallpaper, having the transparency up and running can look quite beautiful, but at the same time, it may slow down slower systems. For this very reason, many folks might want to get rid of the thing, and we’re going to show you how. Launch the Settings app, then venture off to Personalization > Colors. Scroll down until you’ve come across something that says “More options,” then look for the words, “Transparency effects.” You’ll see the option to turn it off or turn it off. Once the button has been toggled, the changes will take effect right away. If this doesn’t happen, restart the computer, and you should now be good to go. Other things you can do here include the ability to automatically pick an accent color from the background, manually select from a list of colors, or customize your own color options. Additionally, folks can even choose where to show their accent colors. For now, there are only two options: “Title bars,” “Start, taskbar, and Action center.” It’s even possible to choose a light or dark background if that’s something you’re interested in changing.
